Detailed recipe steps for making a chickle
- Pat pickle spears dry with a paper towel.
- Heat a non-stick skillet on the stove to medium-high heat. Once hot, do the following for each chickle…
- Add a ¼ cup shredded cheddar to the pan, and quickly form a circle (the width of the pickle) with a spatula.
- Place a pickle down into the center of the melted cheese. Let the cheese sizzle and brown on the bottom for about 1 minute.
- Using two spatulas, gently fold the melted cheddar cheese over the pickle so the pickle is completely enclosed by the cheese making a long roll shape.
- Cook as needed, rotating as desired, until the cheese is melted to your liking. I like the outside to be a light brown color.
- Serve the viral chickle with your favorite dipping sauce.
