  • 10 ounces white chocolate chips
  • 10 ounces red candy melts
  • 10 cups (1 box) Chex cereal
  • 2 cup strawberry cake mix
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • package valentines chocolate M&M’s

Instructions

  1. Divide the Chex mix into two large bowls, 5 cups in each.
  2. In a double boiler melt your white chocolate. (you could use the microwave if you want, find you have more control on the stove top) When you chocolate is totally melted and smooth, pour it into the first bowl of chex and mix gently until the cereal is even coated.
  3. Next do the same with the red candy melts. When they are all melty and smooth, pour them over your second bowl of Chex cereal. Still gently until they are all evenly coated.
  4. Now comes the fun part. Take 2 large zip-lock bags. In each bag put: 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 1 cup of your strawberry cake mix. Add each bowl of the Chex mix into a bag, seal that baby up and shake, shake, shake! Once your mix is evenly coated with the sugar/cake mix let it cool and set.
  5. When you are ready to serve or package, mix the 2 Chex bags together and throw in a package of Valentines M&Ms or Smarties!
